About us

VPorts is an aviation integrator company incorporated in Montreal. We aim to design, build, certify and operate Vertiports in different cities in the world and leverage the potential of Advance Air Mobility.

We are located in Montreal, Canada, with the strategic objective to operate Vertiports in 5 continents by 2030.

VISION

VPorts leads the way in shaping how people will interact and connect in the future. Our vision is to enable travelers to reach their destinations quickly and safely through sustainable advanced air mobility infrastructure.

MISSION

Our mission is to build and operate 1,500 vertiports across five continents by 2045, which will be integrated into local and global air mobility ecosystems through a proactive, responsible approach. By centralizing our operations and leveraging the most advanced technology, we aim to deliver a seamless travel experience.

We look forward to collaborating with Transport Canada, NAV CANADA, the Government of Quebec and municipal officials on defining safety and security regulations, flight corridors, urban integration and community engagement for this important undertaking
that will benefit our communities.

VPorts leadership team has extensive experience in many areas, including collaboration with Civil Aviation authorities, operation, certification, regulation and urban integration.

TEAM

Fethi Chebil

CEO and Founder

Dr. Fethi Chebil has over 20 years of experience in major design construction projects, Public/Private Partnerships and certification processes, centered in the Aviation Industry. He has held a variety of executive positions, starting his career with the International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO) as Airport safety Expert. Moving on to SNC Lavalin heading the Airport Business within the Construction Group, leading Airport design and Operations before moving back to ICAO supporting different countries in airport certification and Regulatory Compliance. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Mathematics. Polytechnique Montreal, Canada, as well as a MSc Project Management from UQAM in Montreal, Canada, and a Masters in Airport Management from ENAC, in Toulouse, France.

Sylvain Ducas

Urban Integration

Sylvain Ducas is a Quebec Fellow Planner with more than 40 years of experience. He started his career as a freelance consultant for nearly 10 years. He then joined the Ville de Montréal for 31 years, where he held various management posts and the position of Director of Urban Planning – Chief Planner (2013-2018); he was responsible for urban and metropolitan planning processes and large-scale urban projects management. Since 2018, he collaborates as a strategic advisor, in Canada and abroad, with public institutions and private firms on large-scale projects and urban planning processes.

Sylvain Coron

CRO (Chief Regulations Officer)

Sylvain Coron has been in the airport sector for over 35 years. He has held operational positions in airside maintenance. He held various management positions, in 2007 he became director of Grounds and Electrical Maintenance for the Montreal-Trudeau and Montreal-Mirabel sites. Ensuring his teams were carrying out the work in accordance with Transport Canada regulations. He worked to rethink the winter maintenance service offer in order to be more efficient. Due to his new approach, his maintenance team won prestigious awards given to the best performing airports in winter maintenance. He has carried out training mandates on the TP312 and Human Factor in several Quebec airports.
